How to Do Marble Manicure with Alcohol Ink

How to Do Marble Manicure with Alcohol Ink appeared first on OLENA.

This project may be something fun and incredibly creative to try in summer. It brings the color pop summer requires, but be aware: alcohol ink is not a beauty product; it’s not designed for nail use (or any other use that may include skin contact), so proceed with caution and make sure you read through the table of ingredients and application instructions as well as product warnings.

This is important to everyone, especially to people with allergies and sensitive skin.

This tutorial is brought to you by Lucy’s Stash blog and features marble manicure on regular nail polish base; no gel required:

I have found that you can easily wipe off the ink from gel polish but you can’t do it on nail polish, it kind of stains it. Plus if you don’t use topcoat or if you’re doing too many layers and playing with it too long, the nail polish underneath starts to kind of melt and smear. I don’t know why but it happened to me more than once. With gel polish you can play with the ink and layer it as much as you like.

Nevertheless, Lucy did a great job re-creating the beauty of alcohol inks on her nails with no gel products. Using 8 different colors of alcohol ink, a base coat, some white nail polish, a top coat and a piece of sponge, she achieved nearly perfect results.
