Where to Buy Caitlyn Jenner’s Corset Featured on the Cover of Vanity Fair ($200)

Caitlyn Jenner stuns in a number of gorgeous gowns during her Vanity Fair shoot, but the most memorable look is the vintage-inspired corset she wears on the cover, documenting her first-ever portrait as a woman. The label behind the now-iconic bustier, Trashy Lingerie, has been working with celebrities (including the entire Kardashian family) for close to 50 years.

… says People Style section. I didn’t want to cover an over-publicized topic but the corset is classic indeed and I was surprised to learn that the brand’s lingerie pieces are publicly available at a very affordable price, including styles almost identical to the one on the cover.

“Her stylist came in, and we didn’t know it was for her,” Mary Loomis-Shrier, owner of Trashy.com, tells People. “We made three corsets and they chose that one. We were just as surprised as everyone else. It’s a corset and a matching high-waisted panty.”

Further Loomis-Shrier shares that this corset style is almost exactly the same as the brand’s popular “Edy” corset, which sells for $200 on Trashy.com.

“That corset is a classic,” she adds. “We’ve been selling that corset ever since we’ve opened 48 years ago. It’s just so gorgeous. You can make it any color. Caitlyn’s was customized for her, and she’s wearing the nude color.”

All I can say is that a corset is a great way to present Caitlyn’s new identity. It’s classy, classic and feminine in nature. Can you think of any other item that is associated with women and femininity since the beginning of time? Trashy Lingerie has worked with the entire Kardashians family (according to the quoted People article) but I think that Caitlyn will outshine every single female the brand has worked with before.

Love it or hate it, Caitlyn’s story made history. Tough luck, Kardashian sisters!
